We are proud to look back at a quite intense period in our company’s life. We have managed to complete four different modular boiler house projects in different parts of Latvia during the past year.

Aloja municipality – 980 kW mobile boiler house for district heating

In November 2020, we installed a 980 kW wood chip container-type boiler house for district heating in the Aloja municipality.

The mobile biomass boiler house provides Alojans with more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly heat energy. This heating solution is good news for local biomass fuel suppliers who produce and supply wood chips.

Skrīveri municipality – 980 kW mobile boiler house for district heating

During the coldest month in winter, January 2021, we completed an 980 kW wood chip container-type boiler house for district heating in the Skrīveri municipality.

The modular heating plant consists of a boiler container module and a wood chip storage container. Our installation specialists successfully connected the EcoHeat Technologies biomass boiler house to the existing wood heat supply network within a few hours.

Each modular boiler house also includes a video surveillance system designed to control the operation of the boiler house. This way, it’s easier to ensure continuous remote control and monitoring. It is necessary to monitor the operation of all equipment, such as pumps, fuel supply system, the combustion process in the furnace, and control of other functions.

Installing EcoHeat Technologies mobile boiler house, Skrīveri municipality administration expects to reduce heat losses, electricity consumption, operation and maintenance costs, and emissions. By implementing the project, we trained the municipality employees to work with the boiler house management.

Dviete municipality – 500 kW mobile boiler house for district heating

In March 2021, we managed to complete yet another district heating project in Dviete municipality, Latvia.


We delivered and installed a 500 kW container-type wood chip boiler house in Dviete village. The boiler house equipment consists of 2 separately movable parts – a boiler container module and a fuel storage container, which houses an ash conveyor, a fuel chain conveyor, and an ash container.

The boiler container module contains a boiler, heating water system (with pumps, heat exchanger, etc.), ID fan, electrical power and automation control, and management equipment, as well as a chimney mounted on the outside of the container. A box is also connected to the ash conveyor and container to remove ash from the boiler.
The fuel storage is a container construction equipped with a moving floor and hydraulic drive; the fuel is transferred from the repository to the boiler by a chain conveyor.

Birzgale municipality – 800 kW mobile boiler house for district heating

A few months ago, in April 2021, we completed an 800 kW wood chip container-type boiler house project in Birzgale village. The mobile heating plant ensures the supply of heat energy to the heat networks of Birzgale village.

As the general contractor and services provider, we installed a mobile boiler house with a total nominal capacity of 0.8 MW.

We continue our work with five more ongoing container-type boiler house projects. These projects are going to be finished by the end of 2021.
